Job Description

Salary: $62,400 - 83,200 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, particularly with SIEM, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Experience using security tools such as SIEM, EDR/MDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, including CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
• CompTIA Security+, CEH, and CompTIA CySA+ certifications are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to security.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts to identify potential security threats.
• Coordinate incident response and remediation as a first- or second-line cybersecurity defense.
• Investigate and resolve security alerts from SOC and internal monitoring systems.
• Identify security gaps, track remediation, and support compliance in vulnerability management.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to strengthen enterprise security.
• Monitor and respond to CrowdStrike EDR, ITDR, anti-malware, anti-spam, and anti-phishing alerts.
• Analyze DLP alerts and help teams prevent data breaches.
• Manage our cybersecurity training platform.
• Develop security policies and processes, and manage compliance standards.
• Support daily security operations to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of IT assets.
• Help implement and support encryption solutions for sensitive data.
• Contribute to physical security measures and compliance with access controls.
• Support compliance gap assessments and remediation related to HIPAA, CMMC, NIST, ITAR, and PCI.
• Collect, validate, and maintain audit evidence and compliance documentation, including SSPs, POA&Ms, and Risk Registers.
• Develop, implement, and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures using GRC tools such as Vanta or Microsoft Compliance Manager.
