Duties
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students both online and in person in all skill levels of French
Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Reliably commute from client to client
Qualifications
Fluency in French
At least 2 years of tutoring experience
Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages
Must be able to commute within the Broward county, FL area. Applicants who are not available for in person work will not be considered
Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Special consideration will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
