Join Our Team as a Line Cook at Al's Cafe!

Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Al's Cafe is looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our team in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. As a Line Cook at Al's Cafe, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to our menu of American cuisine. Join us in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure proper plate presentation and food quality
• Demonstrate excellent knife skills and utilize scratch cooking techniques
• Practice portion control and maintain food safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen team to meet customer needs in a timely manner

Required Skills:

• Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
• Experience with menu planning and execution
• Strong knowledge of pasta, broiling, sautéing, and fryer techniques
• Ability to manage food costs and dietary restrictions
• Experience with batch cooking, a la carte, breakfast, and pastry making

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with soup making and special diets
• Knowledge of food cost management and line cooking
